Our Church Staff

James P. West, Jr., Pastor

Dr. James West has been pastoring for over 43 years - over 35 of those years at McDonough Baptist Tabernacle. He is married to his wonderful wife Kathryn. Pastor West attended Immanuel Bible College where he received his Doctor's Degree. He is assisted by Andy Pope, Youth Director.

Andy Pope, Youth Director

Andy, along with his wife Wendie, head up MBT's Youth Department.

Bill Walters, Music Director

Bill leads our congregation and the church choir.

Bill's life verse comes from: Colossians 3:1-2 - If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Bonnie Hammock, Church Secretary

Bonnie is the Church Secretary and handles the administrative responsibilities regarding the church.

Bonnie's life verse come from: Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
